NEW CREW ON PALAWAN !

Please join us in congratulating Captain Chris Renner and his wife, Sarah on their new command, Palawan, the Ted Hood designed 75’ Little Harbor sloop.  More space, more luxury plus a great crew you’ve known for years!

Chris Renner and Sarah Renner established their reputation as top-notch charter crew with successful charters on sailing yachts from 50 to 70 feet. 

Chris holds a US Coast Guard Master’s license and has been a professional yachtsman for over a decade. He grew up and went to university in Massachusetts and is a licensed private pilot.

Chris has made many passages all along the Eastern Seaboard.  A PADI certified open-water diver, he captained several Virgin Island excursion vessels specializing in snorkeling trips.  During his years in the islands, Chris developed a zealously guarded secret recipe for a wicked rum punch, one of many tropical cocktails in his repertoire.  Entertaining guests is one of his favorite aspects of being a charter captain.

Chef/Mate Sarah Renner

Like her husband, Sarah is a natural host. She is a talented and creative cook who takes great pleasure in creating varied menus brimming with fresh flavors and international accents. Sarah worked in a number of restaurants in New York City and the Boston area and served as the concierge of a well-known eco-resort in the Virgin Islands before joining Chris on charter yachts seven years ago.

Originally from Texas, Sarah earned a BFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts, a part of New York University.  She is an avid traveler who enjoys seeking out local museums and attending the theater whenever possible.  Like Chris, she holds a PADI open-water diving certificate.

An exceptional team in many ways, Chris and Sarah look forward to welcoming you aboard Palawan. Together, they will see that your cruise is completely carefree and truly memorable.

Accommodations for six.  Aft cabin offers 2 large single berths with two  separate heads, one with shower, the other with bathtub. The port cabin has 2 twins with en suite head & shower, and the starboard cabin has upper/lower single berths with a private head/shower.
