A winning combination of finely-crafted traditional woods, dark blue leather and crisp white linens, Blue Moon offers so many comforts.  The aft stateroom, a  perfect honeymoon retreat,  has a queen-size bed, individual A/C controls and flat screen plasma TV with its own satellite receiver.  A special treat is the master  bath’s extra deep Japanese soaking tub.   The double guest cabin, forward of the salon, has its own A/C controls and shares a head and shower with the crew.  There is a single berth available for family bookings.

High ceilings and ports all around make for stunning views and abundant light in the main salon.  At the end of a day of great sailing and exploring, settle into the salon’s luxurious leather seating and admire the hand-carved teak interior  and oriental rugs.  The ‘entertainment package ' includes a large plasma TV, CD & DVD player (all with libraries), Bose surround sound, video camera and satellite TV and radio. 

Water sports are a specialty of Blue Moon's young and active crew.   Windsurfing, water skiing, tubing and kite-boarding are offered as well as snorkeling.  Captain Jonathon Davis taught all these activities, and sailing, during the 12 years he served as an adviser for his local Sea Cadets.  He encourages guests to use the underwater camera for snorkeling adventures.  Xenon underwater lights open up a whole new world at night. 

Chef Kim Hogan, a native of Houston, specializes in seafood and Italian cuisine.  She has years of restaurant experience and training in technique and presentation.  With two grills, cooking Mediterranean shrimp and veggie skewers for the grown ups and hot dogs for the kids is no problem.
