Angel’s new captain is Christian Goodin, 38, British. He holds an
RYA Yacht Master Ocean license and has logged over 60,000 miles in
British, Mediterranean, Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean waters.
A few of the yachts Christian has worked on iare: Sapphire-86’ Belliure, Anemos-112’ Swan, Chimera-104’ Alloy Yachts sloop,
Foftein-106’ Royal Huisman and two classic yachts – Blue Leopard &
Casseopeia, 112’ and 124’ respectively. Captain Goodin earned a City & Guilds 2440 Marine Craft Fitter’s Certificate, completed at Distinction Level. This course of training incorporates theory and engineering projects with practical work in all marine systems and components. In short, he can trouble shoot and repair just about everything onboard. Christian is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and has Medic First Aid training SEA ANGEL has enjoyed great weather for delivery from the Caribbean and is due to arrive next week in Gig Harbor, Washington - her base for summer charters. Pick-up ports will be in the United States - Anacortes, Bellingham or Friday Harbor in the San Juans - all a short trip from the Seattle airport. Suggested charter itinerary: Sail to British Columbia via the beautiful San Juan Islands. As long as guests board in the US, they are welcome to cruise in Canadian waters. Alaska charters are also a possibility – with a delivery fee. Accommodations for six: The master suite offers a king bed, two writing desks and two baths. Identical en suite guest cabins have twin lower singles. Summer 2007 Rates: $23,500/4 $25,500/6 – plus all expenses.
