Meet the new skipper on TRUE NORTH . . .

Captain Robert Crocker takes command in July.  With extensive experience onboard luxury sail and motor yachts up to 140 feet in South Florida and the Bahamas,  Captain Rob moved to the sunny climes of St. Thomas and St. John several years ago, fell in love with the island life and made his home among the palms and sandy beaches.  He learned the lay of the land in the Virgin Islands on catamarans, fast ferries and dive boats.  Now a ‘native’ islander, he has the inside line on the best beaches, snorkeling and fishing.  Rob is a PADI Certified Dive Master qualified to take guests to whatever level of snorkeling or diving they desire.

Captain Crocker has held a 500 ton USCG Master’s License (Auxiliary Sail) since 1987.  He has earned more than 20 professional certificates of training and licenses including :

STCW ’95 - GMDSS - Fire Fighting - First Aid & CPR - Life Pack Defibrillator - SOLO Wilderness Emergency Medicine - and five modules of American Sailing Association training

Joining Captain Crocker are First Mate Dustin Rodgers and Stewardess Emily Sandoz who worked with him on Island Voyager, a 93’ motor yacht.   They are cruising with the owner in the Caribbean at present and look forward to meeting you and welcoming you aboard at the Tortola and Antigua charter shows.
