“Ashlana, (formerly ROBIN) is the last and best Little Harbor 52 built.  She is still my favorite yacht:  Sails fast, wins races and is easy to sail shorthanded.”

Following a complete refit this year, Ashlana is ‘better than new’ and accepting charters in Maine with up to four guests.  Her new owner/skipper Tom Hampson, was a custom cabinet maker for more than 30 years before he retired.  Tom grew up on the water in Connecticut and started sailing at age twelve.  For three years in the 90’s, he and his family cruised on another Little Harbor they owned from Maine to Grenada.  He has been a USCG licensed captain for many years and did numerous deliveries for charter companies from Maine to Florida in the 80’s.

Tom’s partner, Christie MacConnell grew up in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State and sailed on Lake Champlain. A self-taught chef, she catered events for several universities as well as private parties.  Lobster and seafood delivered fresh to the boat highlight Christie’s menus which she easily adapts to meet special requests and dietary restrictions.  Tom and Christie are enjoying their second summer sailing Ashlana along the East Coast and look forward to offering a true Maine experience to their guests.

Summer 2007 Daily Rates: $1,530/ 2 guests / day $1,700/4 guests /day ~ plus expenses. 

Summer 2007 Weekly Charter Rates:  $10,710/2   $11,900/4  ~ plus all expenses
