We have some exciting news to share with  you regarding the Clipper STAD AMSTERDAM.  The ship has been chartered  for the filming and production of a documentary on 19th century voyage of the Beagle with Charles Darwin.  The charter will take STAD AMSTEDAM around the world over a 10-month period, following the route of Darwin’s original voyage. 

This means that, unfortunately, STAD AMSTERDAM will not be available from June 2009 until she returns to Amsterdam for the August 2010 Tall Ship’s Festival, “Sail Amsterdam.” 

In the meantime, we will keep you posted from time to time on STAD AMSTERDAM’s news and whereabouts and of course her availability for the winter 2010 – 2011 season back in the Caribbean.
